Heb. 10:10 – “we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all”
Heb. 10:14 tells us – “for by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified”
2 Cor. 5:21 - “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
Col. 2:10 – ‘in Him (we) have been made complete’
2 Peter 1:4 - ‘… you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.’

Heidelberg Catechism question #1 asks: What is your only comfort in life and in death?

Answer: That I, with body and soul, both in life and in death, am not my own, but belong to my faithful Saviour Jesus Christ, who with His precious blood has fully satisfied for all my sins, and redeemed me from all the power of the devil; and so preserves me that without the will of my Father in heaven not a hair can fall from my head; indeed, that all things must work together for my salvation. Wherefore, by His Holy Spirit, He also assures me of eternal life, and makes me heartily willing and ready from now on to live unto Him.
